Hilary’s Cafe is from the Golden Globe award winning TV show Fleabag. It follows our main character Fleabag as she navigates her chaotic life through wit, spontaneity, and sarcasm. Fleabag runs a cafe in Central London with her friend Boo who suddenly passes away leaving her to deal with the grief, the cafe, and a guinea pig named Hilary all by herself. For the design of Hilary’s Cafe’s Menu I decided to go with something more personalized. There’s no known set menu for the cafe in the show, and the prices are very random and comically expensive when mentioned. So I implemented many of the cafe’s quirks, and made a menu that could have been made by the main character herself. The cafe itself is very thrifty, unique, and cute so I added sketches of the food itself to match the cafe’s vibe. The cafe is guinea pig themed as set by her former friend Boo, so the logo is obviously Hilary, and if that isn’t obvious at first glance Fleabag clarifies it on the menu as well.
